so after last friday afternoon’s primetime hoedown, Novak called Jon Stewart “not funny and uninformed.” the cajun called him “a pompous ass.” and after i read that, i went and looked up “pompous” just to make sure i understood (and because i’m retarded), and then was amazed that a fuckin’ Crossfire host could get the gumption to call anyone else pompous.

it seriously is political theatre, and it seriously is great that the media, the media (not a political party) is turning on Stewart for overstepping whatever bounds they’ve set for him. soon as he calls them for sloganeering and bullshitting for ratings points, Carlson calls him a “buttboy,” and says he “sniffs [John Kerry's] throne.”

FUCK! Stewart would probably blow Franco if they could book him! why is it the daily show’s responsibility to act like a goddamned informed news organization? doesn’t that fall to CNN, and other responsible journalists, to ask questions, to get at the actual news?

and on that note, I don’t care if mary cheney is a dyke. we all know it, now lets talk about terrorism and the budget. please.
