in other news: I’m beginning to out-and-out dislike my job. it just, you know, sucks. I don’t feel like working six day weeks until further notice. I didn’t sign on for this bullshit, but that’s apparently how it’s going to be. so if you want to copy edit for shit pay with a bunch of bitter, sarcastic assholes and a semi-Canadian who is drifting in a fog of perpetual adolescence (you’d have to meet him to understand that), then there’s a position open for you. and you’d get to work with me! and put a face to the fucking name you’ve loved for so long.  I EXIST.

I just read online about secret endorsement of severe interrogation methods by the Justice Department in 2005.

but even more importantly, I saw a picture of Dana Perino denying it at the White House. ‘we don’t endorse torture,’ ‘no secret memos,’ etc. and all of that would make me physically ill, if she weren’t so fucking adorable.
